TrailCon to be held this weekend in Antigo

Set your calendar for August 17 and 18 for the first annual Trail Conference (TrailCon) event. TrailCon will be free to the public and is going to be held at the Langlade County Fairgrounds in Antigo.

TrailCon is a joint effort between Wisconsin ATV Association (WATVA), Association of Wisconsin Snowmobile Clubs (AWSC) and the Wisconsin Horse Council so expect to see vendors for both dirt and snow. TrailCon is geared towards trail building, equipment, land access issues, club products and mo re. Did we mention general admission is FREE!

TrailCon was developed to bring together clubs and associations (as well as the general public) to explore and learn about trail access as well as promote trail riding to the general public. This includes networking opportunities and equipment demonstrations that all play a key role in what our clubs do to keep our trails open. The public can come and explore what our clubs do to make their riding areas possible, as well as see the latest and greatest machines. These include ATV\'s / UTV\'s / Snowmobiles and trail grooming equipment.

Also in attendance this year will be Greg Mumm, the executive director and spokesperson from our national organization, the Blue Ribbon Coalition. Greg will be making his first stop on his cross country \"Turn the Tide Tour\" where he will be asking you what message(s) he should deliver right to Washington DC. This is your chance to get your feelings heard related to trail access topics!
